Corrinado’s Pizza Closes Its Doors

It’s a sad day for State College pizza lovers.

Corrinado’s Pizza, the antiquated shack located at the tip of Hetzel St. and College Ave., has called it quits. The previous owner of the location confirmed to Onward State the restaurant was closing its doors at the end of December. There’s no word yet on who the new owner will be.

Known for its Italian entrees and of course pizza, the resturant earned a three and a half star rating on Yelp. The resturant opened in 2000 and started serving vegan and gluten free options over the next two years.

Although some may not agree that it’s the best pizza out there, Corrinado’s made its footprint amongst carb lovers at Penn State and will be missed by its loyal customers.
