Homecoming 2016 Set For First Week Of October

Mark your calendars, alumni and future alumni! Penn State Homecoming announced on Monday that the Homecoming football game, and the weeklong festivities leading up to the weekend, will be the first week of October.

Homecoming Week 2016 will start on Sunday, October 2 and culminate with the Homecoming game on Saturday against the Maryland Terrapins. The Nittany Lions won this years matchup in Baltimore in the Terrapins second year in the Big Ten. This will be their second time in Beaver Stadium since joining the conference. Here’s what happened the first time: 

Homecoming returned to October in 2015 after being in late September the years before.

Other important information related to Homecoming Week – like the concert, the theme, and the Grand Marshal – won’t be announced until later this year.
