Natty Nittany: Laptop Stickers Edition
They say that laptop stickers are a window to the soul.
For this edition of Natty Nittany, we decided to stray from the norm and scour the Penn State campus for the best-decorated computer covers. Every student’s laptop is a prized possession — a basic necessity — so let’s take a look at some of the coolest ones students have to offer:
Alex | Senior | Hospitality Management
As the lone senior we spoke with, Alex has had four years to accumulate quite the collection. From Odd Future to Plankton, this laptop exudes personality.
Sam | Junior | Telecom
We found Sam studying in Willard and her laptop immediately caught our attention with its combination of bright pastels and a fitting homage to a great TV show, Friends.
Damian | Junior | IST
Damian packs a punch with the impressive variety of stickers he was able to fit onto his laptop. Not only does he rock Beats By Dre, but check out that awesome “Apple” juice centerpiece.
Gabby | Freshman | Undecided
Gabby employed a keen eye to piece together this design, which highlights her affinity for Vineyard Vines — a common theme among the laptops we perused — and a sweet sticker from Canada’s Banff National Park.
Dale | Junior | Biobehavioral Health
Dale clearly loves the outdoors and the Bronx Bombers, but takes it back to Dear Old State with the beloved “chipmunk” logo front and center.
Victoria | Junior | Marketing
Victoria’s wide array of stickers shed light on her love for the mountains and the beach all in one. With THON coming up this Friday, Victoria’s doing her part to raise awareness For the Cure as well.
David | Junior | Energy Business and Finance
David utilizes a neat layered technique in order fit as many stickers as possible onto the back of his laptop. You certainly can’t go wrong with the Grateful Dead and lifestyle brand LRG, but perhaps the coolest sticker in David’s collection — from a visual perspective — is the psychedelic fox.
Ethan | Junior | Journalism
Finally, let’s take a look at the back of the laptop that wrote this article. I love to rep Onward State and LoveYourBrain, the non-profit organization started by snowboarder Kevin Pearce, who endured a Traumatic Brain Injury during superpipe training for the 2010 Winter Olympics and now gives back to the TBI community.

As you can see, Nittany Lions enjoy supporting their favorite organizations and sharing some of their interests with the rest of the university community. Until next time, keep it Natty, Penn State.
