Gameday Coverage: Penn State vs. Maryland

Welcome back to gameday, Penn Staters!

James Franklin’s Nittany Lions are fresh off a 29-26 OT thriller against Minnesota last weekend in Beaver Stadium. They’ll hope to keep up the momentum when they host Maryland for Homecoming.

Here’s all the media information you’ll need to tune into today’s action.

Television Coverage

Today’s kickoff is scheduled for a noon ET start on the Big Ten Network.

Radio

Penn State Sports Network — Steve Jones, Jack Ham, and Derrick Williams. Local: 93.7 FM/1450 AM. Sirius: Ch. 132. XM: Ch. 196.

Weather

According to Accuweather, temperatures should hover in the mid-60s throughout today’s contest with a strong chance of intermittent rain showers.

Last Time They Met

Christian Hackenberg and the Penn State offense orchestrated a 31-30 shootout win over the Terrapins at M&T Bank Stadium — home of the Baltimore Ravens.

Injuries

Linebackers Jason Cabinda and Brandon Bell are expected to miss today’s game. Wide receiver Saeed Blacknall made an appearance on this week’s depth chart, however, and could return for the first time since the Kent State game. Cornerbacks Christian Campbell and Amani Oruwariye are somewhat unlikely to suit up, but the former was listed behind John Reid as usual, so we’ll see what happens.
