College Of Communications To Host Post-Election Panel

The College of Communications will sponsor a “Post-Election Panel” featuring alumni of the journalism program who covered the 2016 presidential election. The panel will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15 at Freeman Auditorium in the HUB.

The featured alumni include:

  • Anna Orso of billypenn.com – Orso graduated in 2014 and was the managing editor of The Daily Collegian.
  • Kevin Cirilli of Bloomberg News – Cirilli graduated in 2011 and was the campus editor of The Daily Collegian.
  • Casey McDermott of New Hampshire Public Radio – McDermott graduated in 2013 and was the editor-in-chief of The Daily Collegian.

The session is free and open to the public. Russ Eshleman, head of the Department of Journalism, will moderate the discussion.
