The final week of classes is upon us once again. If the thought of exams and all-nighters makes you hate this time of year, you can head north of campus for a little holiday spirit this week. The Arboretum will host its annual Winter Celebration this Friday, December 9 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event will feature seasonal songs from Penn State glee club The Hi-Lo’s and a cappella group The Pennharmonics starting at 5:30 p.m. There will be lighted trees and displays throughout the arboretum, as well as the Childhood’s Gate Children’s Garden, where there will be decorations made by children in the community.

The celebration is free and open to the public and complimentary refreshments (read: hot chocolate to keep your hands warm) will be available. Guests are encourage to bring chairs or blankets to sit on during the show.
