Midget Wrestling Wows Fans At Champs Yet Again

Midget wrestling made its return for the fourth time Tuesday night at Champs Downtown and once it started, much like Penn State basketball, it didn’t stop.

The ring was placed in the basement of Champs surrounded by a circle of ringside seating and people standing on elevated surfaces eagerly waiting midgets fighting each other. A couple pimps (yep, you read that right) were seated ringside graciously donating their outfits to the fighters.

As the national anthem started and the crowd continued to fill in, the first bout started. Mr. Mad Mex started with the large height advantage and began the fight beating up on Baby Chuckie.

In a stunning turn of events, Baby Chuckie ended up pinning Mr. Mad Mex — much to the delight of the crowd.

After a brief break, Steve O battled Mr. Mad Mex. Mr. Mad Mex looked tired from the previous fight and could not muster enough energy to beat Steve O in the second bout.

In the championship round, Steve O lined up against Baby Chuckie until Mr. Mad Mex joined the ring. After fifteen minutes, everyone was left chanting for the crowd favorite and your “Midgets with Attitude” champion, Baby Chuckie.

The fight had all the theatrics you could imagine: wet floor signs, aluminum trash cans, and metal chairs.
