Hitch A Ride To Ohio State With UPUA’s Blue & White Brigade

The University Park Undergraduate Association approved funding Wednesday night for its signature Blue & White Brigade student buses — this time to the Ohio State game in Columbus, which kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 28.

UPUA passed a bill to fund $2,882 for one bus and facilities chair Cody Heaton indicated a third party private donor will fund a second bus, though he wasn’t at liberty to identify the additional donor. The two buses will be able to transport 108 students for free.

Those who plan to attend the Ohio State game will need to purchase student away game tickets, which are now sold online through the regular Student Account Manager. Within the online sales system, students will have the option to sign up for the Blue & White Brigade.

Student tickets for Ohio State are $140 and go on sale at 7 a.m. Monday, October 23. Students who purchase online will need to pick them up at the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office between 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 24 and 4:30 p.m. Thursday, October 26.

UPUA hasn’t yet set departure or return times for the Blue & White Brigade. We’ll update this story with more information as it becomes available.
