State College Halloween Bar Specials And Events To Check Out Tonight

Though many State College bars celebrated Halloween early this past weekend, some downtown venues will still have Halloween specials and themed events for you to check out tonight. Throw on your best costume and take a look at what these bars have to offer for the evening.

Bill Pickle’s Tap Room ‘Hoedown from Hell’

Pickle’s is well known for its popular Country Night on Tuesdays. Country Night will still take place tonight, but with a special spooky twist. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best costumes for a chance at prizes from the State Hotel, Fireball, and many more. The event starts at 9 p.m. and winners will be announced at midnight.

ENVY Nightclub ‘Night at ENVY’

ENVY Nightclub will host its Night at ENVY Halloween party tonight at 10 p.m. Attendees can come in costume for a chance to win prizes through the costume contest. Since it just opened in January, this will be ENVY’s first-ever Halloween event.

The Shandygaff ‘Haunted Halloween’

The Gaff’s annual Halloween party is a favorite for many Penn Staters. The event starts at 9 p.m. and will feature complimentary drinks from Captain Morgan, as well as giveaways throughout the night. You can also dress spooky for the chance to win a variety of cash prizes during the costume contest.

The Phyrst ‘Phright Night’

Attendees are encouraged to dress up in costume for the Phyrst’s final Phright Night event of the Halloween season. The bar will offer its Tuesday $1 Yuengling pitcher special, and the band 3 AM Tokyo will put on a special Halloween performance from 10:30 p.m. to close.

Champs Halloween ft. Xuitcasecity

Champs Downtown and the Station at State College will host Champs Halloween from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event will feature performances by Xuitcasecity and special guest Java, and there will also be a variety of games and prizes for the best Halloween costumes. As part of the special, entry is free for those who wish to attend.
