Triota To Host ‘Ask Anything Panel’ In The HUB

Iota Iota Iota, Penn State’s women’s, gender, and sexuality studies honor society (known as Triota), will host an “ask anything panel” at 6 p.m. Monday, February 12 in 129 HUB.

The goal of the event is to explore what a comprehensive sex education would look like if it were targeted specifically toward women and LGBTQ individuals. The panel will be driven by audience member’s questions and shared experiences.

Expert panelists will provide varying perspectives on the topics the audience presents. This year’s panelists include Dr. Jill Wood, Dr. Hilary Malatino, Dr. Jessica Matsick, and Dejah Harley.

“The event will be inclusive, feminist, and safe for all,” Pam Rutherford, Triota’s service chair, said in a press release.

Triota aims to maintain the feminist values of equity, inclusiveness, and the celebration of the diversity of all individual’s experiences which is central to Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
