Ways To Get Water At THON Besides The Concourse Fountains

Whether you’re at the Bryce Jordan Center for the full 46 hours or just for a couple, you are bound to get thirsty. The lines for the water fountains can last longer the lines for chicken baskets at Beaver Stadium. While it may seem like there are no other options other than waiting your turn in this never-ending line, you have other options!

Bathroom Sink

This may be the most obvious solution. The only problem is that most of bathroom sink water is warm. If you don’t mind quenching your thirst with what feels like bathwater, this should be your go-to move.

Hand Your Bottle To A Dancer

This is probably frowned upon by R&R, but there isn’t much of a line on the floor for the dancers to fill their own bottles. Just be careful to scope out where the nearest R&R captain is so your org doesn’t get in trouble for doing this.

Use Your Squirt Gun

Although you probably used bathroom sink water to fill up your squirt gun, the water should have gotten to a decent temperature for you to be able to enjoy the little amount of water that is able to be held in the tank.

Have A Friend Sneak In A Bottle For You

Once again, this is probably frowned upon. If all hope is lost, you can always figure out when the next member of your org is arriving and ask them to sneak you in a full bottle of water.

Buy A Bottle At Concessions

This one’s a last resort for obvious reasons, but may not be so bad if you can find a friend willing to use their meal points to quench your thirst.
