Two Competitions, One Night

Penn State Campus Residential Dining is excited to announce two competitions both happening on Thursday, March 29.

Start the night off with a March Madness basketball shoot off competition in Redifer Commons from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Participants have the chance to win big prizes including: an Xbox One, an Apple Watch, Beats, a Beats Pill and more.

Spots are limited, so show up around 5 p.m. for a better chance to compete. The “final four” participants have their choice of prizes. Even spectators will go home with some goodies from Pepsi such as food and beverage samples, and can enjoy the DJ who is hyping up the crowd all night.

Also on March 29 in Redifer Commons at 5:30 p.m., Penn State Campus Residential Dining is hosting the final round of the CA Culinary challenge sponsored by Barilla. Student chefs have been working hard since the first round of the competition that took place in February, where we saw amazing dishes presented like Butter Lemon and Herb Seafood Medley Linguine.

The skills of the chef finalists culminate at the final round as they bring their best work forward to the judges. This competition showcases the talents of our student chefs. Their final dish must be cooked in one hour and include Barilla pasta. Stop by to see who the judges pick as the top chef.

Penn State Campus Residential Dining hopes to see you at these two great events, all in one night. Giveaways and good food await you.

Penn State Campus Residential Dining is committed to ensuring a positive experience for all students. If you have more questions about Campus Dining or would like to apply you can follow the link here, or contact Jim Meinecke, Associate Director, at 814-863-1255, [email protected].
