Penn State Hockey Announces Ticket Information For NCAA Tournament Games In Allentown

Penn State men’s hockey released the ticketing information for the NCAA tournament games to be played at PPL Center in Allentown, PA, on March 24 and 25.

Season ticket holders can request their tickets for the weekend’s postseason games for both regional semifinals on March 24 and the regional final on March 25 from now until March 14 at 5 p.m. Doing so does not guarantee your seat for the action, but those who are granted tickets can attend all three games throughout the weekend whether or not Penn State plays in them.

Fans can also buy tickets for all three games for $68.50 at PPL Arena. Students can purchase their tickets by filling out this form issued by The Roar Zone and secure a spot on a bus out to Allentown for no additional charge. If Penn State qualifies for the tournament, the team will definitely play in Allentown since Penn State is the Midwest region’s host.

The Nittany Lions’ spot in the national tournament is all but certain despite their elimination from the Big Ten tournament against top-seeded Notre Dame. Guy Gadowsky’s team has a 99.9 percent chance of qualifying for the tournament and will likely compete as the No. 11 or 12 overall seed in the nation. Consecutive weekend sweeps over Minnesota at Pegula Ice Arena virtually secured Penn State’s spot in the tournament following an up-and-down season.

We’ll find out Penn State’s first-round opponent on March 18 at noon during the Selection Show for the NCAA hockey tournament. The show will be broadcast on ESPNU.
