Saquon Barkley Enshrined In Bobblehead Hall Of Fame

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum (it’s a thing, apparently) unveiled a specialty bobblehead figurine of Saquon Barkley sporting his blue Penn State jersey.

FOCO manufactured the bobbleheads, which are part of the Hall of Fame’s NFL stars in their college uniforms series. The series includes Tom Brady, Julio Jones, Matt Ryan, Von Miller, and 40 other players.

Barkley’s bobblehead is available on the Hall of Fame’s website for $40.

As for the bobblehead itself, we’re not sure that the face truly resembles Saquon:

If its designers did get something right, though, it’s Barkley’s tree-trunkesque calves and thighs.

At the very least, the bobblehead seems sturdy — almost like it’s going to hold together forever. I mean, you get what you pay for: They aren’t handing these things to the first 100 fans through the gates at Beaver Stadium. It’s a $40 bobblehead.

When you live your life as a sports fan getting nothing but giveaway figures at games, you come to expect some flimsiness. But the Barkley bobblehead is solid.

Did Tony Carr cross him up? We’ve had some weird luck with Penn State giveaway bobbleheads over the years.

FOCO has also made a pair of other Saquon bobbleheads. There is the NFL Draft bobblehead, which is available now, and the “Gates Series” bobblehead, which is available for pre-order. Both can be ordered online for $40.

Unfortunately, former editor Steve Connelly has graduated. Where is he now? He might be doing something related to that PR degree he got in 2019. Maybe he finally opened that sports bar named after one of his photos, the Blurry Zamboni. Or he might just be eating chicken tenders and couch surfing. Anything’s possible.
