Podward State: Season 3, Episode 4

Despite a shorter run time, this week’s episode of Podward State, our premier podcast, has plenty of content to enjoy.

Hosts Matt Ogden, Matt Paolizzi, and Sam Brungo chat with associate editor Katie Moats about the State College’s coronavirus-era bar scene and who’s the cream of the crop when it comes to pandemic food offerings.

Later, staff photographer Lily Whitmoyer talks about her experience living at the Nittany Lion Inn this semester while some Eastview Terrace buildings are being used to quarantine and isolate students. While it’s not exactly like “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” it’s still a unique experience unlike anything ever offered on campus.

Podward State releases episodes weekly and features discussions about all things Penn State, including sports, news, student life, and entertainment.

You can listen to the new episode on Spotify or watch it on YouTube below. Feel free to check out our time-stamped list of discussion topics if you’d like to jump right into a topic of your choosing.

About the Author

Matt Paolizzi

Since graduating from Penn State in 2021, Matt is (hopefully) manning a successful job and (hopefully) living a happy life by now. In a past life, he was a writer for Onward State and remains a proud alumnus of the best student publication in the country. Check out Podward State too, Onward State's official podcast, that he co-founded alongside Matt Ogden and Mitch Stewart in 2019. It's his baby, give it a wave and make sure it's doing okay. Thanks to da king Sam Brungo and everyone who follows, it most definitely is.
