SPA To Host David Dobrik For Virtual Q&A October 5

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) will host a virtual Q&A session with YouTube star David Dobrik at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 5.

The virtual event comes after David Dobrik’s sold-out Q&A session was canceled in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Students can sign up for the event and submit their questions through this form. SPA is working with WPSU Radio to provide students with a link to access the livestream.

Dobrik is best known for his comedic YouTube channel and role in the “Vlog Squad.” He’s now amassed more than 18 million subscribers in addition to 22 million followers on TikTok and 14 million on Instagram.

Dobrik has featured celebrities including Courteney Cox, Kendall Jenner, and Justin Bieber in his four-minute and 21-second vlogs.

Like every SPA event, Dobrik’s virtual Q&A is free for students and funded by their student-initiated fee. Students will need to verify themselves by using their Penn State email address before entering the virtual event.
