PSU Votes Holding Outdoor Voter Registration Clinic Through October 19

PSU Votes is hosting an outdoor voter registration clinic outside the HUB this month to help students get registered to vote before the deadline hits.

Students can register between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the HUB patio until registration closes on Monday, October 19. The registration event is part of a series of events put on by PSU Votes to increase civic engagement across campus.

Last week, PSU Votes and the University Park Undergraduate Association hosted Lt. Governor John Fetterman. During it, he spoke about the importance of civic engagement and shared tips on how to vote this year.

PSU Votes and UPUA’s department of civic engagement are working in tandem to host more events like these before Election Day.

In past years, voter registration events have been part of a PSU Votes Week. Last year, PSU Votes hosted other events like canvassing in the HUB and Pollock Commons and debates on climate action policy between College Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.
