Countdown Is On With 100 Days ‘Til THON 2021

We officially dance in just 100 days, folks!

Wednesday, November 11 officially marks the 100-day countdown for the first-ever virtual THON. Like the dance marathon itself, the organization’s annual 100 Days ‘Til THON event will be celebrated virtually this year.

Wednesday’s event will begin at 11 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. when THON 2021’s “Rise and Unify” logo is revealed. The event will be livestreamed on THON’s Facebook page.

Below is the lineup of virtual events for 100 Days ‘Til THON:

  • 11 a.m.: Introduction and Start of 100 Days
  • 11:10 a.m.: DR Line Dance #1
  • 12 p.m.: Family Speaker
  • 1 p.m.: THON Idol
  • 2:50 p.m.: DR Line Dance #2
  • 2:55 p.m.: Human Photo Reveal
  • 3:05 p.m.: Closing Remarks
  • 3:10 p.m.: THON Logo Reveal Promo
  • 5 p.m.: THON 2021 Logo Reveal

100 Days ‘Til THON provides an opportunity for the Penn State community to get pumped about the event and to recognize the work volunteers have completed so far.

Two weeks ago, THON announced it raised $690,013.53 over 13 days as part of its second-ever Dream Forward Campaign. The drive marks the unofficial beginning of THON’s fundraising year.
