Three-Star Center Elijah Hutchins-Everett Decommits From Penn State Hoops

Penn State basketball has lost yet another recruit. Three-star center Elijah Hutchins-Everett announced Sunday that he’s reopening his recruitment and leaving the Nittany Lions.

Hutchins-Everett was the latest commit to the program, and was also the last to decommit. He follows forward TaQuan Woodley and guard Houston Mallette in leaving the program. The Nittany Lions now have zero recruits for the class of 2021.

These changes stem from former head coach Pat Chambers resigning from the program. It is unclear whether or not he will continue to look at Penn State as he searches for a new place to play.

Hutchins-Everett previously had offers from DePaul, Iona, Miami (FL), Minnesota, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Syracuse, and Villanova. It will remain to be seen if those schools will try to recruit him now that he is back on the market.
