Jahan Dotson Named To Biletnikoff Award Watch List

Penn State football’s star wide receiver Jahan Dotson was added to the Fred Biletnikoff Award watch list Thursday, the team announced via Twitter.

The award is given annually to the best wide receiver in college football.

Dotson has been a bright spot on Penn State’s offense this season, as he has racked up 388 yards and five touchdowns on the year so far. His massive target share from Sean Clifford cemented his status as the team’s number one wideout soon after the season started.

It was his nasty one-hand snag against Ohio State that first put the country on notice.

Dotson will aim to be only the second Nittany Lion ever to receive this award. Bobby Engram’s 1994 season with Penn State gave him the honor the very first time it was given out.

The last Nittany Lion named to this watchlist was KJ Hamler, prior to his 2019 campaign.

Dotson and the Nittany Lions will take on the Iowa Hawkeyes this weekend in Beaver Stadium. The game will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and will be broadcast on BTN.
