Penn State-Rutgers To Kick Off At Noon

Update, November 30, 1:30 p.m.:

Penn State’s matchup with Rutgers will officially be broadcast on FS1, the team announced Monday. The Nittany Lions’ games against Nebraska and Indiana were also broadcast on this channel.

Original Story:

Penn State football’s upcoming road matchup with Rutgers will kick off at noon on Saturday, December 5, the team announced Saturday night.

The game will be broadcast on FS1 or Big Ten Network, but it looks like the destination remains up in the air for now. It’ll be Penn State’s third noon kickoff of the season.

Last year, the Nittany Lions took down the Scarlet Knights 27-6 at Beaver Stadium in an all-around ugly showing that solidified Penn State’s third 10-win season in four years. The two teams’ most recent matchup in Piscataway resulted in a 20-7 Penn State win in 2018.

Penn State is 28-2 all-time against Rutgers and has won its last 13 matchups against the Scarlet Knights dating back to 1989.

Coming off its first win of the season, Penn State (1-5) will try to keep its momentum going against Rutgers (2-4). Although both teams are far away from College Football Playoff contention, bragging rights are officially on the line!
