Homecoming 2021 Captain Applications Now Open

Penn State Homecoming is now accepting captain applications for Homecoming 2021.

Applications must be submitted by January 29 in order to be considered. Students can fill out the application here.

Captains are tasked with planning the celebrations that recognize Penn State traditions and pride. They work with alumni, faculty, staff, and various Penn State organizations to make the celebration one to remember.

Application requirements include submission of a resume and spring semester schedule, top four committee preferences, and responses to various questions regarding experiences, interests, and Penn State values.

Interested candidates can apply to be part of 14 possible committees that work together and lead teams of students to execute more than 10 different Homecoming events throughout the year.

Possible Homecoming committees include:

  • Alumni Relations
  • Competition
  • Court Relations
  • Distribution Management
  • Financial Management
  • Internal Development
  • Merchandise
  • OPPerations
  • Parade
  • Pride Events
  • Public Relations
  • Talent Relations
  • Technology
  • University Relations
