The Official Penn State-Michigan State Drinking Game

Folks, it’s finally the weekend we’ve all been waiting for. Penn State will host Michigan State Saturday in this year’s battle for the highly coveted Land-Grant Trophy.

Penn State is known for cracking under pressure against Michigan State, but after two wins in a row, the Nittany Lions are gaining momentum. After all, Penn State needs to defend the greatest trophy in college football.

If things go south this weekend, you’ll probably need a drink or two to get through the game, and that’s where our drinking game comes in.

  • Finish your drink right now for the third straight noon kickoff. We’re tired of waking up early.
  • Take a shot every time ABC shows the thick hunk of wood that is the Land-Grant Trophy.
  • Sip your drink if James Franklin has his mask taped up to prevent his glasses from fogging up.
  • Take a long sip if they honor the seniors for Senior Day. We’ll miss you!
  • Take a shot if Will Levis comes in and runs the ball — better known as the ever-so-predictable Will Levis Package.
  • Take a looooooong chug if you suddenly think of the 2018 Penn State-Michigan State game. Not a pretty sight.
  • Finish your drink if the commentators mention how the Big Ten eliminated the minimum-game requirement just for Ohio State to get in.
  • Take a massive gulp if Big Ten refs continue to be ~garbage~.
  • Take a shot for any mention of Penn State reaching 900 all-time wins. Time for 901, baby.
  • If the Nittany Lions win, finish your drink and celebrate the Land-Grant victory.
  • If Penn State loses the game, finish everything in sight and say goodbye to our beautiful, ugly baby (read: the Land-Grant Trophy).

No matter who takes the Land-Grant Trophy home, remember to have fun, be safe, and drink responsibly.
