Penn State’s Virtual Student Involvement Fair To Begin January 26

Penn State’s spring Student Involvement Fair is officially set to take place virtually from Tuesday, January 26 to Thursday, January 28.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day and follow an online format similar to the fall fair.

Like last fall, the fair will be hosted online on OrgCentral, Penn State’s hub for student-run organizations. To look for prospective clubs and organizations, just click the “Events” tab to browse a list of the clubs available that day. There will be links to Zoom rooms, allowing students to interact with organization members.

Unlike in the fall, however, the days have been split up into different categories for each organization. Each day will have its own “theme,” with different clubs available to talk to prospective members.

On January 26, academic/professional organizations, honor societies, and university departments and resources will be featured on OrgCentral.

On January 27, club sports, dance organizations, international/multicultural organizations, media/publication organizations, music/performing arts organizations, physical activities organizations, and Greek life will be available.

On January 28, philanthropy organizations, political organizations, religious/spiritual organizations, Residence Life Special Living Options, service organizations, special interest organizations, student councils, student government associations, and university affiliates will be on display.

If you can’t make it, you can still access 90-second videos from clubs on FlipGrid, which will give you a quick taste of each organization and instructions to sign up. You will need to log in via your Penn State WebAccess account to view the FlipGrid videos.
