Tally Sepot Memorial Award Presented At THON 2021

THON 2021’s second day started off on a heartfelt note when Executive Director Katie Solomon presented this year’s Tally Sepot Memorial Award. Tally died in a car accident on the way back from a canning trip in fall 2015.

The award, created alongside Sepot’s family, aims to recognize a THON volunteer who embodies “all that it means to live like Tally.”

The Tally Sepot Memorial Award was presented to Paige Phillips, a Communications captain and THON chair for Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

“I am truly honored to be receiving this award. I cannot even believe it,” Phillips said.

Last year, Sepot’s family took the Bryce Jordan Center stage to present the award and donate $75,000 to a memorial fund in her honor.
