[Photo Story] THON Org Apollo Gets Into Theme Hours

THON 2021 is in full swing, and dancers are embracing the virtual format with open arms.

One unique aspect of virtual THON is theme hours. Complete with themed activities and Spotify playlists, each hour is dedicated to keeping volunteers and spectators entertained.

Apollo, a special interest THON org, got into the spirit for Pirate Hour.

Donning pirate hats and eye patches, the group’s dancers crafted some swords made from cardboard and foil.

Even Apollo President Dante Marcucci got into the spirit by giving himself a sweet ‘stache.

When the dancers finished crafting their swords, members of Apollo and Apollo’s THON child joined over Zoom and judged which swords were the best.

How did your THON org take advantage of THON 2021’s theme hours? Let us know in the comments!
