[Photo Story] Spring Has Sprung At Penn State
Spring is finally in full swing, folks!
It’s especially great to say that with students on campus this year. We certainly missed seeing Happy Valley spring back to life while we were stuck at home due to the pandemic last spring.
To take in the sights around campus, some of our visual staffers set out to capture Penn State in bloom. Here are just a few of our favorite snapshots:
It’s officially cherry blossom season ’round these parts.
Bright pink shades are especially common near South Halls, where dozens of cherry blossom trees are planted. Head down to grab a look yourself. They’ll be gone before you know it!
Even the Willard Preacher enjoys the fresh air spring brings to campus.
Ya like jazz?
Those elms are looking good, folks!
The Creamery is an especially lively spot these days now that it’s scooping hand-dipped ice cream again.
Humans Students certainly aren’t the only ones enjoying the warmer weather. Penn State’s furry and feathery friends are out and about, too.
