El Jefe’s Taqueria To Open In Downtown State College

A new mexican restaurant is getting set to open in downtown State College.

El Jefe’s Taqueria will open at 352 E. Calder Way under HERE State College. It’ll be the first retail space to open under the newly completed apartments.

According to the hours listed on its door, the restaurant will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its menu features a wide array of tacos, burritos, and bowls.

The incoming restaurant will join other downtown Mexican restaurants such as Yallah Taco, Mad Mex, and Chipotle.

El Jefe’s hasn’t posted any information about its opening just yet, but its website currently says it’s coming soon, and the inside of the restaurant appears to be nearing completion. The restaurant is hiring through its website.
