Penn State Football Announces 2021 Home Game Themes

Are you ready for Penn State football?

As student tickets continue to roll out this week, the Nittany Lions announced themes for all seven of their 2021 home games on Thursday.

Along with a full-stadium White Out against Auburn on September 18 and a student section White Out for a date with Michigan on November 13, the Nittany Lions will host several other themes for fans’ return to Beaver Stadium this fall.

Penn State’s week two home-opener against Ball State on September 11 will be known as the “107k Family Reunion.” The White Out will then follow, and a week four battle against Villanova will be this year’s THON game.

As if two White Out’s wasn’t enough, its cousin the Stripe Out will also make a return to Beaver Stadium this fall. The Nittany Lions were obviously unable to hold a Stripe Out last season, but it last took place in 2019 during a 17-10 victory over Pitt.

Penn State’s annual Homecoming game will take place on October 25 against Illinois. According to the schedule, that will also be the “Generations Of Greatness” game, which in year’s past has featured throwback uniforms for the Nittany Lions.

The Nittany Lions will round out the home slate with Senior Day and Military Appreciation Day against Rutgers on November 20.

As for away games, Penn State will take on Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio State, Maryland, and Michigan State on the road this fall.
