Help Choose New Sidney Friedman Parklet Mural

State College wants to add a new mural to the Sidney Friedman Parklet on Fraser Street, but it needs your help!

The borough is partnering with local artist Ann Tarantino and the Woksob Family Gallery for the project. Community members can help choose the design from two possible options and even contribute to its construction.

The Woskob Family Gallery, which is operated through Penn State’s College of Arts and Architecture, is working with the State College Borough to complete this project.

Artist Ann Tarantino does work in drawing, painting, installation, and site-specific public work. She’s had her work shown in museums, galleries, gardens, city streets, and more across the United States and overseas.

If you have any questions or want to learn more about the mural, call Douglas Shontz at (814) 278-4723 or email him at dshontz@statecollegepa.us
