Nittanyville Named Live Màs Student Section Of The Week

If you spent Saturday night screaming and shouting in Beaver Stadium’s student section, thank you. As a result, Nittanyville was officially named the top student section in the country this week.

Even after camping out on Old Main Lawn for College GameDay and spending the afternoon tailgating, students brought the excitement and energy to Beaver Stadium until the very end.

This is far from the first time Penn State’s student section earned an accolade. Nittanyville won two weekly Live Más Student Section of the Week awards and was even crowned Student Section of the Year.

Saturday’s crowd was unlike one we’ve seen in a long time. In fact, 109,958 people packed the stands to produce the 10th-largest crowd in Beaver Stadium history.

Nittanyville and the rest of Beaver Stadium will get to hit the stands again this weekend when Penn State faces Villanova. Kickoff on Saturday, September 25, is set for noon.
