Recreating More Album Covers At Penn State

Produced by Michael Tauriello, Aryan Roy, Mikey DeAngelis, Rachel Padnis, and Charles Reinert

Music is the paint that colors life’s blank canvas. It brings life to things we never thought could be vibrant and expresses our feelings when we can’t find the right words. Heck, it’s one of the few things in life that brings people from all different walks of life together!

Over the years, there’s been a lot of albums that have grown to be more than just the music. Their images on the covers have been put on posters, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and every other thing in between. Back in 2018, some of our staffers took on the challenge of recreating some famous album covers at Penn State, and they certainly rose to the occasion.

This fall, we decided to tackle the same challenge yet again with even more albums. Without further ado, here is another rendition of what all of your favorite albums would look like if they were inspired by Penn State.

‘Born in the USA’ — Bruce Springsteen

‘The Black Parade’ — My Chemical Romance

‘American Football’ — American Football

‘American Teen’ — Khalid

‘The Nylon Curtain’ — Billy Joel

‘Who’s Next’ — The Who

‘The Nightfly’ — Donald Fagen

‘good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe)’ — Kendrick Lamar

‘The Off-Season — J. Cole’

‘DONDA — Kanye West’

Special thanks to all the people that helped make all these album covers.
