Your Official Penn State-Maryland Drinking Game

The Nittany Lions are back on the road to take on Maryland in hopes of snapping a three-game losing streak.

Although Penn State leads Maryland 40–3–1 in the two programs’ crazily lopsided all-time series, there’s still room for improvement from the Nittany Lions. After a sad but expected loss to Ohio State, this could be the turning point.

With all that we’ve been through as fans, it’s hard to stay optimistic about this weekend, but that’s what drinking is for! So sit back, relax, and responsibly enjoy this week’s official drinking game.

  • Before kickoff, enjoy a beer. You deserve it.
  • Take a sip every time the broadcast shows how Penn State fans took over Maryland’s student section two years ago. Remember, Maryland actually canceled classes…just for that!
  • Finish your drink if Sean Clifford is still limited from his injuries. He’s looking better, but who knows.
  • Take a shot if Penn State’s run game gets churning. It probably won’t, though.
  • Big gulps are required for every Penn State sack and interception. Gotta give the defense some credit, given the circumstances.
  • Take a sip of your drink for every interception thrown. Sigh.
  • Take a shot for every positive gain from the running back corps. We really need some action here.
  • Shotgun your beer every time the broadcast mentions that Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa is the brother of Tua Tagovailoa.
  • Celebrate and finish your drink if Penn State is now 6-3. Bowl eligible!
  • Finish every drink in sight if Penn State is now 5-4. Hell, don’t stop drinking until next week, too.

As always, stay safe and drink responsibly.
