Podward State: Season 5, Episode 12 Ft. Derek Moye

We Are…back after a quick break for Thanksgiving. Our hosts, Samuel Brungo and Grace Cunningham start out this episode by going over some State College and Penn State headlines over the last two weeks with help from Jordan Mansberger, Hailey Stutzman, Shannon Smith, and Charlie Pegler.

Next, Will Pegler joined our hosts to interview former Penn State football wide receiver Derek Moye. A team captain in 2011, Moye finished his career in the top 10 for receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and receptions in Penn State history before spending four seasons in the NFL. Moye tells us about his recruiting process, playing for Joe Paterno, and tells some of his favorite stories from his time in Happy Valley.

Finally, Brungo wraps up the show with Pegler and Connor Krause as they talk about Penn State football’s regular-season finale loss to No. 12 Michigan State, James Franklin’s new contract, Brent Pry’s departure to Virginia Tech, and potential bowl games.
