Report: Wide Receiver Norval Black No Longer With Penn State
Penn State wide receiver Norval Black is no longer on the Nittany Lions’ official roster, according to a report from Lions247’s Sean Fitz.
Though a Penn State official confirmed Black’s removal to Fitz, the former three-star recruit has not yet entered the NCAA transfer portal. At this time, the reason for Black’s exit is unavailable.
Penn State has not yet responded to Onward State’s request for comment.
Black is the second Nittany Lion to reportedly depart in as many days after quarterback Ta’Quan Roberson entered the transfer portal on Monday.
A member of Penn State’s Class of 2020, Black transferred after a stint with Lackawanna Community College. Penn State offered Black his sole Division I offer following a camp stint. Black accepted and committed on the spot.
Black did not appear in a single game for the Nittany Lions during his two-season tenure with the team. If he were to enter the transfer portal, Black would have two years of eligibility remaining.
