Class Of 2022 Defensive Lineman Dani Dennis-Sutton Earns Fifth Star From 247Sports

Defensive lineman Dani Dennis-Sutton, who signed as a member of Penn State’s recruiting class of 2022, officially earned his fifth star from 247Sports Wednesday morning. He received the star rating upgrade from On3 as well, on Monday.

With the upgrade in his rating, Dennis-Sutton joins quarterback Drew Allar and running back Nicholas Singleton as Penn State’s third five-star signee of the 2022 recruiting cycle.

The Owing Mills, Md. native is 247Sports’ highest ranked player in Maryland and No. 27 overall.

Over the last couple of months, Dennis-Sutton has recently shined in the All-American Bowl and Polynesian Bowl. Arguably, his biggest highlight was his sack of an incoming Ohio State quarterback that came after a killer move against an incoming Ohio State offensive tackle.

With numerous members of the Nittany Lions’ defense announcing their departures for the NFL Draft, including defensive linemen Arnold Ebiketie and Jesse Luketa, the newly minted five-star recruit may be expected to contribute early for Manny Diaz’s defense.
