Podward State: Season 6, Episode 9 Ft. John Harrar

On this week’s episode of Podward State, hosts Grace Cunningham and Samuel Brungo are joined by Shannon Smith to go over some Penn State headlines with the help of Hailey Stutzman and Jordan Mansberger.

Later on, Connor Krause, Will Pegler, and Keeley Lamm are joined in the studio by Penn State men’s basketball star John Harrar. Throughout his interview, he touches on his recruiting journey and how he flipped his commitment from an Army football scholarship to a Penn State basketball tryout. From Pat Chambers to Jim Ferry to Micah Shrewsberry, Harrar talks about the different experiences that he has had at Penn State during his 5 years in the program, including the NIT Tournament and the effects of COVID-19.

To close out the show, Krause and Lamm cover all things Penn State sports along with Mara McKeon.

Podward State is an Onward State-produced podcast that releases weekly episodes on Spotify and YouTube. Each will feature discussions about all things Penn State, including sports, news, student life, entertainment, and more.
