Downtown Improvement District Searching For Fiber Artists To Help With Yarn Mural

For all you knitters, crocheters, and fiber artists out there, this is your time to shine.

The Downtown State College Improvement District is in search of artists to help knit a yarn mural on Calder Way this summer. Interested artists will help construct a mural of balloons that will be displayed on the Pugh Street parking garage.

Community members of all ages and skill levels are welcome to get involved in the project, although dates times have yet to be released.

If you’re interested in getting involved, fill out this Google Form with your full name and email address. The organization plans to reach out to those interested once it has a better idea of what the balloons should look like.
