Cloudy Skies, Strong Winds Expected For Blue-White Weekend

If you’re heading to Happy Valley this weekend, let’s hope that, for once, AccuWeather does not live up to its name. It has been a wet and dreary season for the past few weeks, and the forecasting giant predicts more of the same for Blue-White Weekend.

AccuWeather’s forecast is calling for overcast conditions with a high of 62 degrees. Additionally, there’s a predicted 55% chance of rain throughout the morning and early afternoon. On top of it all, AccuWeather forecasts sustained 10 mph winds with gusts north of 21 mph.

There’s no need for negativity, though. Outside of the soon-to-be-graduating seniors, everyone on campus will be experiencing their first real Blue-White Weekend as students. This is the first spring game since 2019, for crying out loud! Rain or shine, that’s reason enough to celebrate.

Penn State’s Blue-White spring football game is set to kick off at 2 p.m. Before then, fans can check out a handful of entertainment opportunities across campus. Check out our preview to learn more about what Blue-White Weekend’s got in store.
