Crumbl Cookies To Open In State College

It appears that State College is getting its first Crumbl Cookies dessert shop sometime soon.

Crumbl Cookies is a cookie shop that features a rotating menu and non-traditional cookie flavors. Its first location opened in Logan, Utah in 2017 and has since expanded to over 500 bakeries, making it the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation.

Crumbl Cookies is set to open at 19 Colonnade Way in State College in the former location of Jos. A. Bank. The location is less than 10 minutes from downtown State College and is off of North Atherton Street.

Each week, four or five specialty flavors will be on the menu. The chain’s signature milk chocolate chip cookie is always available, too. Flavors can range from brownie sundae to fruit pizza.

Crumbl Cookies went viral on TikTok last summer and has gained a cult-like following in less than a year. Crumbl followers anticipate the Sunday menu drop, post video reviews online, and snap photos of the iconic pink packaging.

It is unknown when State College’s Crumbl Cookies will open or what its hours will be.

Crumbl Cookies will join The Squirrel and Acorn Bookshop, a new bookstore set to open on South Allen Street in August, as a new business in State College. Way Fruit Farm is expected to expand to East Calder Way, too.
