Lululemon To Launch Licensed Penn State Apparel At Family Clothesline August 19

Calling all athleisure fans!

It appears that popular activewear brand Lululemon has collaborated with Penn State to produce a line of licensed Nittany Lions apparel. The collection, called “lululemon // Penn State,” will be available at Family Clothesline starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, August 19, according to a post on the store’s Instagram.

According to a second post by the store, only 30-to-40 customers at a time will be allowed inside from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., after which the customer limit will be removed. You can start lining up as early as 6 a.m. and if you miss the drop, any remaining inventory will be available online starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 21.

The collaboration will feature both men’s and women’s apparel. However, what items will be included in the line is a mystery, as Family Clothesline is unable to give previews of the collection before the launch, according to comments on the store’s Instagram and Facebook posts.

This isn’t the first collegiate Lululemon collection. Most recently, the brand partnered with the University of Alabama, which gained traction on TikTok due to buzz surrounding the SEC school’s fall sorority recruitment.

While Penn Staters will have to wait until the official launch next week to find out what is included in the collection, an Alabama student’s TikTok may provide insight as to what could be in store.

The TikTok, posted by Darcy McQueeny, showcases a variety of men’s and women’s items with Alabama branding, including tank tops, shirts, shorts, leggings, sweatpants, sweatshirts, backpacks, and more.

For now, only time will tell if Penn State Align tank tops and Everywhere belt bags will take over State College this fall.
