‘Be A Part From The Start’, ‘BASH’ Return For Fall 2022 Semester

It’s almost time for the fall 2022 semester.

As a result, the Penn State Alumni Association is hosting two on-campus welcome events in preparation for the new school year. The Class of 2026’s “Be A Part From The Start” pep rally will return on Sunday, August 21, and “BASH” will on Tuesday, August 23.

From 8 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, incoming freshmen can visit Rec Hall for the Lion Ambassadors’ annual pep rally. Featuring performances and appearances from student-athletes and coaches, Happy Valley’s newest residents will learn everything they need to know about Penn State pride.

Those unavailable to attend in person can check out this link for a livestream, as well as more live updates.

From 1 to 4 p.m. on August 23, all University Park students can stop by the Hintz Family Alumni Center for BASH. Free food, games, and other activities will be offered while students learn about how to join the nation’s largest alumni association. BASH is hosted by the Blue & White Society — the student membership segment of Penn State’s Alumni Association.

No registration is required for either event.
