OS Creates: Penn State Cards Against Humanity

Have you ever played Cards Against Humanity, Penn Staters?

Basically, it is a card game similar to Apples to Apples with a darker twist. One player picks from a stack of black cards that have a sentence that includes a blank. Then, all of the other players look through their set of white cards to select the best (or worst) word or phrase to fill in that blank.

All of the players submit their cards to the one player with the black card. That player becomes the judge and picks their favorite card to fill in the blank and declare it the winner of the round. It’s a real hoot.

However, the one problem you may encounter is some boredom or disinterest in the options you’re provided with. Now, don’t get us wrong. They’re hilariously funny cards, but you may not understand all of them or simply just don’t feel a strong tie to them because the options don’t relate to you or something you know about.

Imagine if you could play that same, hilarious game but with cards that interested you more. Cards that are about something you care about and love more than most of your family members — Penn State.

You haven’t been asking for it, but here is our version of Cards Against Humanity, but Penn State-themed. We have provided you with some examples from the game we created, but you can play the full set with your friends on Cards of Personality. Once there, select “Create Game” and then type “PSU Against Humanity” in the section where it asks for the name of a private deck. Lastly, have some good ol’ fashioned college fun.

At Onward State, we are always sobbing about The Daily Collegian.

No matter how enticing it may sound, don’t kidnap the cows. We need them for Berkey Creamery ice cream.

If you don’t know about the Twerk Circle, you’re too young. If you want to know about that interesting evening in East Halls, take a look.

We want to encourage you to not slam your SPIN Bike into a group of Penn State moms or smoke some drunk cigs, but whatever happens, happens, we guess.
