[Photo Story] Downtown State College’s 21st Annual Fall Festival

On Saturday, downtown State College held its 21st annual Fall Festival on Allen Street. Attendees enjoyed a wide array of fall-themed activities that included pony rides, face painting, a fun house, food, and more.

Take a look at some of our visual staff’s favorite photos from the day.

Families had fun while enjoying the beautiful weather on Saturday. Nothing compares to a nice fall day in State College.

One of the more popular activities at the festival was face painting. Talented artists painted sharks, tigers, and other fun designs.

Kids had smiles from ear to ear as they rode horses, took pictures with their favorites Disney princesses, and slid down the slide after completing an obstacle course.

There were also plenty of pumpkins for people to take home.

Pumpkins could be decorated at an arts and crafts table. With everything from paint, stickers, glitter, and everything in between, participants’ imaginations could run wild.

With the picturesque fall foliage setting the scene, the Fall Festival proved that fall in State College is truly the best time of year.
