Senate Candidate John Fetterman Added To November 2 ‘Rally In The Valley’ Event

John Fetterman, the Democratic nominee for the 2022 United States Senate election in Pennsylvania, will visit campus on Wednesday, November 2, as part of the Penn State College Democrats’ “Rally In The Valley” event.

The event, which was already set to feature Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro, will kick off at 5:45 p.m. on Old Main lawn. Shapiro will also be joined by Austin Davis, a candidate for lieutenant governor. Although it is not required, you can RSVP for the event here.

Fetterman has served as Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor since 2019. He’s up against Republican candidate Mehmet Oz in the senate race after defeating Connor Lamb in the primary election.

The West Reading, Pennsylvania, native last spoke at Penn State in October 2020 as part of a virtual lecture on civic engagement.

Election day is Tuesday, November 8, which is exactly one week from today.
