No. 15 Penn State Opens As Two-Score Favorite Against Maryland

Don’t be surprised if No. 15 Penn State football keeps rolling, folks.

After a win over Indiana on Saturday, the Nittany Lions have opened as 10.5-point favorites against the Maryland Terrapins for their November 12 matchup, according to Oddshark. The over/under is set at 58 points.

Penn State is 6-3 against the spread this season after its 45-14 win over Indiana that covered the 13.5-point spread. After a 23-10 loss to Wisconsin, the Terrapins are now 4-5 against the spread, failing to cover against their last four opponents.

Penn State has hit over seven times this season, just missing against Central Michigan and Northwestern. Maryland has only reached the over in its matchups four times, though three of those came in the last four games.

Penn State has beaten the Terrapins eight times in the last 10 matchups, with both Maryland victories coming at Beaver Stadium, including the last time the two teams faced off in Happy Valley.

Maryland is an even 2-2 on the road this year, while Penn State is 4-1 at home. This year’s matchup will take place at Beaver Stadium at 3:30 p.m. on FOX.
