Penn State Football’s Chris Stoll Named Patrick Mannelly Award Semifinalist
Penn State long snapper Chris Stoll has been named a semifinalist for the Patrick Mannelly Award.
Since its inception in 2019, the award is handed out annually to the best long snapper in the country.
Over the course of his career, Stoll has played in 45 games for the Nittany Lions, starting all 10 games in his current senior season and serving as a team captain.
Stoll is one of ten semifinalists for the award. He is also one of three Big Ten players nominated for the honor alongside Indiana’s Sean Wracher and Wisconsin’s Peter Bowden.
The finalists will be announced on November 28, and the winner will be presented with the award on December 10. If Stoll were to win the award, he’d become the first Nittany Lion to take home the honor.
Stoll is the fifth Nittany Lion to be named an award semifinalist this season, joining Abdul Carter, Sean Clifford, Joey Porter Jr., and Jonathan Sutherland.
