Your Official Penn State-Rutgers Drinking Game
The end is near, folks.
Penn State will play its final road game of the regular season this Saturday in Piscataway against Rutgers. The Nittany Lions haven’t lost to the Scarlet Knights since 1988 and are currently on a 15-game win streak against the boys from New Jersey.
Most students traveled back home for Thanksgiving break to celebrate turkey day with their beloved families. So, crack open a bev and have a safe and fun break this week. You deserve it.
Get the beers flowing with your family for this week’s official drinking game.
- Crack a brew to get the day started. You’re most likely hanging with family over the break, so make sure you show them some extra love.
- Take a shot if you don’t end up watching the game. It’s Rutgers, folks.
- Chug your drink if the broadcast mentions that Saquon Barkley was once a Rutgers commit.
- Take a three-second sip if the Scarlet Knights go three-and-out on their first possession of the game.
- Take a sentimental sip if Sean Clifford gets the start. We have to soak up the vibes for as long as we can. He only has two more games.
- Cheers to your Penn State buddy if you see more blue and white in the crowd than red. Nittany Nation sure does travel well.
- Chug for five seconds if Drew Allar checks in before the second half.
- Finish your drink if the over hits by halftime. It’s set at 44.5, but it could be a blood bath.
- Take a shot of maple syrup if Christian Veilleux touches the field before the game ends. Ooohhh Canada!
- Shotgun a brew if Manny Diaz’s defense holds Rutgers to below 150 passing yards. It only averages 166.8 this season. Yikes!
- Take a sip if Penn State gets an interception.
- Finish your drink if Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen combine for over 150 rushing yards.
- Bonus: Take a shot if they each have 100.
- Take a shot with the fam if Penn State comes out victorious.
- Have your mother pour you a glass of wine if they lose. Might as well be classy in a loss.
As always, have fun, stay safe, and drink responsibly.
