Penn State Alumna To Search For Love On ‘The Bachelor’

Calling all of Bachelor Nation!

Penn State alumna Cara Ammon will compete against 30 women in search of love in the upcoming season of the hit TV show “The Bachelor.”

The 27th season of “The Bachelor” will premiere at 8 p.m. on Monday, January 23, on ABC, much to the delight of college watch parties everywhere.

The Pittsburgh native graduated from Penn State in 2017 with a degree in business administration and management. Ammon now lives in New York City working as a lateral recruiter for J.P. Morgan, according to her LinkedIn.

A peek at Ammon’s official ABC candidate profile reveals that this Penn Stater is looking to find her “missing piece” and enjoys “jamming out to Justin Bieber” when not working hard in the office.

Hosted by former bachelor Jesse Palmer after the departure of long-time host Chris Harrison, this season welcomes a new lead, Zach Shallcross.

Best known for a heartbreaking breakup with bachelorette Rachel Recchia in the 19th season of “The Bachelorette,” Shallcross is a tech executive from Anaheim Hills, California.

Shallcross is also the nephew of American actor Patrick Warburton. Warburton appeared during Shallcross’ hometown date on the last season of “The Bachelorette,” surprising fans everywhere as he stole the show with the Shallcross family.
