2023 Blue-White Game To Kick Off At 2 P.M.

Penn State football’s season may have just finished, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to prepare for the 2023 season.

Up first is the 2023 Blue-White game on Saturday, April 15, which will kick off at 2 p.m., the team announced on Tuesday.

It’s still up in the air what format the 2023 Blue-White Game will operate under. Last year, the scrimmage featured offense vs. defense after usually splitting up into two separate teams in the past. The change in format was to help the offensive line out and “get some special teams stuff situated,” per James Franklin.

The annual spring game has historically included free admission and festivities surrounding the game, though, Penn State has yet to announce details for either. The event has served as a reunion of sorts in the past, as previous Blue-White games have drawn around 60,000 attendees.

With former quarterback Sean Clifford out the door after the 2023 Rose Bowl win, the 2023 Blue-White game will give fans an extensive look at Drew Allar, Beau Pribula, and maybe even early enrollee Jaxon Smolik.
